The Twin Cites Premiere Production of:


ARTisphere Theatre and Torch Theater are co-producing 
the Twin Cities premiere production of "Looking for Normal."
 
"Looking for Normal" is a funny, poignant play that asks the question, "What is the definition of a family?"  The setting is a small town in Ohio.  Roy and Irma have been married for 25 years, but something is not right.  During a routine visit to their pastor for marriage counseling, Roy admits that he was born in the wrong body and is a woman, something he has known all his life.  The play explores what happens to Roy and Irma, their extended family, friends and the whole community as a result of Roy's bold choice.

The cast includes Taylor Bolstad, Debra Davis, Garry Geiken, John Middleton, Anita O'Sullivan, Mo Perry, Larry Roupe, Randy Schmeling, Fred Wagner and Sally Ann Wright.
 
Directed by ARTisphere Theatre co-founder Terry  Lynn Carlson.
Set & Lighting Design by Erik Paulson. Sound Design by Lynn Musgrave.
 
The show will perform at the Theatre Garage at the corner of Franklin and Lyndale beginning January 11th through February 3, 2008.
Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 PM,  and Sundays at 3:00 PM. There is also a special "Industry Night" on January 21 at 7:30 PM.
